After breakfast, proceed to Thimphu via the scenic mountain town of Gedu and Chukha Dam. En route, stop at Chojum to witness the beautiful confluence of the Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu rivers. After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Thimphu. After breakfast, drive to Punakha/Wangdue via the famous Dochula Pass, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan. Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views, prayer flags, chortens, and mani walls along the way. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Post lunch, visit Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha Suspension Bridge, Punakha Village, and Jigme Dorji National Park. Overnight stay in Punakha/Wangdue.
After breakfast, drive to the scenic Gangtey Valley, located in the glacial Phobjikha Valley. Visit Gangtey Goemba and enjoy a nature trail walk through meadows, forests, villages, and chortens. Later, visit the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre, known for its observation room and cultural exhibits. Return to Punakha for overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Paro via Dochula Pass, passing through the Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu river valleys. En route, visit Simtokha Dzong, Bhutan’s oldest fortress and a center for Dzongkha language learning. Upon arrival in Paro, check in to the hotel. Later, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong, and Tamchog Lhakhang. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, enjoy Paro sightseeing including Nya-mey Zam Bridge, Dungtse Lhakhang, Druk Choeding, and views of Taktsang Monastery.
