Tour Plan
On arrival at Paro Airport and after completing your Visa / Permit formalities you will be received by our Bhutan representative who will assist you in boarding your vehicle for transfer from Paro Airport to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan. Based on time availability, en route stop at TamchogLhakhang (Iron Bridge)& Photo break at Chuzom (Confluence) Meeting point of Thimpu River (Wong Chu) & Paro River (Pa Chu). On arrival at Thimphu, check in to the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast go for Thimphu sightseeing covering Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower) which is located at an elevation of (2865 Mts / 9397Fts), which offers an exquisite view of the whole town of Thimphu. Then after visit Buddha Point (KuenselPhodong), Institute for ZorigChusum (Traditional Art & Craft School) (Closed on Saturday , Sunday, National Holiday & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum, Handicrafts Shops (Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), ZangthopelriLhakhang (Monastery), Simply Bhutan (Closed on National Holiday), MotithangTakin Preservation Centre. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
After leisurely breakfast, checkout and then drive from Thimphu to Punakha / Wangdi, which is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass (3080Mts / 10102Fts) which is very scenic with fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan. Afternoon / evening at leisure.Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast go for local sightseeing of PunakhaPunakhaDzong, the Suspension Bridge and then take a walk for 30 minutes (one way) to ChimiLhakhang (Monastery).
Optional: White water rafting on Direct payment basis on Punakha River. Return back to hotel. Overnight at Punakha / Wangdi.

1. Guest who are opting for White Water Rafting, must carry 01 extra dress along for change, just in case one gets wet.

Punakha / Wangdi - Excursion ToGangtey / Phobjhikha Valley - Punakha / Wangdi (85 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs one way approx)
Today the day start early for full day excursion to Gangtey&Phobjikha Valley. The valley of Gangtey is one of the most beautiful spots in Bhutan. At Gangtey visit Black Necked Crane Information Centre, GangteyGoempa (Monastery).Drive back to the Punakha/ Wangdi. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, checkout from hotel and then transfer from Punakha / Wangdi to Paro.En route stop at atLamperi to visit Royal Botanical Garden (Entrance fee INR 100 (Approx) per person Adult / Child).On arrival at Paro, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast go for full day Paro sightseeing covering DungtseLhakhang, then stop at Bird eye view point from this point picturesque Paro Valley can be seen from this point and the small Paro International airport in the middle of all of that looks stunning. Ideal time to go here would be between 10-11 AM. Then visit Ta Dzong (National Museum-Closed on National Holiday), RinpungDzong, KichuLhakhang. Back to the hotel.Overnight at Hotel.

Paro - Hike ToTaktsangLhakhang (Tiger’S Nest) - Paro
Start the day early for a day hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery). The hike which is a uphill climb for about 2 ½ to 3 Hrs (Depending on Guest Fitness level) one way through pine forests. Many guest who are unable to make it to the top can hike upto the cafeteria points which is again about 1 to 1 ½ Hrs uphill climb. Later return back to the base where the vehicle will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.
After breakfast checkout and then transfer from Paro to Paro Airport (PBH), for onwards connection.

- Cost for supplementary service, optional Tours, Up-gradation Charges.
- Cost for Train fare, Travel / Any kind of Insurance & Premiums, Rafting Charges.
- Cost for service provided on a personal request.
- Cost for personal expenses such as laundry, soft drinks, incidentals, porter charges, tips etc.
- Cost for any other service not mentioned under the “Cost Includes” head.
- Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary.
- Difference in cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc.
Terms & Conditions
- The rates are subjects to availabilty.
- Accommodation in the itinerary at the mentioned hotels or the similar hotels.
- The confirmation is subjects to availability and prior payment.
- Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon availability at the time of check-in the category of room as specified on your confirmation voucher.
- Extra bed means Extra mattress.
- No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments sightseeing tours or any other service due to Bad weather, ill health, Strike, Road blocks or any other factor beyond our Control.Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
- No refund shall be claimed, if the services & amenities of hotel were not up to your expectations, it will be considered on case-to-case basis Confirmation policy.
- Token amount is nonrefundable.
- Price quoted are subject to availability at time of confirmation, we are currently not holding any blocking against the sent quotation.
- Tour prices are valid for Indian Nationals & Foreigners holding Indian Resident Permit.
- Booking confirmations are subject to availability.
- All Hotels Rooms are subject to availability.
- We are not holding any reservations of air seats, hotel rooms, conference rooms etc. Final availability status will only be known when we request for bookings.
- Holiday Surcharge will be additional if applicable.
- Any overstay expenses due to delay or change or cancellation in flight will be on the guests own & Exploring Holidays India will not be held liable for such expenses however we will provide best possible.
- Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.
Payment Policy
- The Above package can be booked/ hold by paying token amount which is 50% of the total amount for booking.
- The client has to complete 80% of total amount within one month from the booking date.
- The remaining 20% should be complete before 7 days prior to date of arrival.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 30 % of the Total Package Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 70% of the Total Package Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 7-10 days before the start date of the trip, 85% of the Total Package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- 100% cancellation would be charged from the total booking amount in case of 6 days prior or last-minute booking cancellation due to flight cancellation, any natural calamity, and change in flight schedule/ferry due to technical/weather and high tides and sea conditions.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
- 100% in case of non-refundable flight ticket / Hotel Room.
- Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.
