After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Pahalgam, located in the south-east of Srinagar at an altitude of 2130 meters above sea level. The journey offers enchanting views of saffron fields at Pampore, apple orchards, and lush green valleys along the way. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Pahalgam is one of Kashmir’s most popular and beautiful hill resorts, surrounded by towering mountains, dense pine forests, and sparkling high-altitude lakes. After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Pahalgam. Visit the beautiful (ABC Valley) Aru Valley, Betab Valley and Chandanwari (the base point for the holy Amarnath Yatra) by local cab, which can be hired directly in Pahalgam at your own cost. Enjoy the serene beauty of lush green meadows, snow-capped mountains, and the soothing sound of the Lidder River flowing through the valley. You can also enjoy pony rides or take nature walks amidst the pine forests. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival, check in to your hotel and later proceed for a delightful Srinagar city tour. Visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens — Chashme Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) — all laid out by the Mughal emperors in the 16th century. These beautiful gardens are located along the banks of Dal Lake, offering stunning views of the Zabarwan mountain range. Next, visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill, providing a panoramic view of the city, Dal Lake, and River Jhelum. En route, stop by a handloom centre to see the craftsmanship behind Kashmir’s world-famous Pashmina/Shatoosh shawls and hand-knotted carpets. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, situated about 87 km from Srinagar in the northeast direction at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level.
