After breakfast, depart for Thekkady, driving through beautiful spice plantations and lush green hills. Thekkady, located 2,800 ft above sea level, is known for its cool climate and aromatic spice gardens. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, you may visit a spice plantation (optional) and enjoy a Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu martial arts show at the Mudra Center (optional). Overnight stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast, proceed for a thrilling boat ride on Periyar Lake (tickets to be purchased directly). This famous wildlife sanctuary offers a unique chance to view elephants, deer, and various birds from the safety of a boat. Later, you may enjoy an elephant ride at Elephant Junction (optional). After breakfast, transfer to Alleppey, known for its serene backwaters and traditional houseboats.
