Whether you're seeking thrilling treks, cascading waterfalls, or peaceful hideaways, Meghalaya is a dream destination waiting to be explored.
Arrive at Guwahati Airport (GAU) or Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) and transfer to Shillong. Enjoy a scenic 3–4 hour drive (140 km) through the hills of Assam and Meghalaya. En route, visit the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani), known for its calm waters and pine-covered surroundings. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Notes: Sightseeing en route is possible only for guests arriving early.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth. En route, stop at Elephant Falls. In Cherrapunjee, visit Garden of Caves, Arwah/Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Note: Most waterfalls may dry up during winter months.
After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. Explore the village and visit the famous Single Living Root Bridge (involves a short walk). After lunch, continue to Dawki, renowned for the crystal-clear Umngot River and its stunning green valleys. Visit the Dawki suspension bridge and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Later, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati (3–4 hours). On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you may opt for a Brahmaputra River Sunset Cruise or Dinner Cruise (direct payment; subject to operational conditions). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Early morning optional visit to Kamakhya Temple (Outer view; VIP tickets to be arranged by guests through the official portal). Return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport (GAU) or Railway Station (GHY) for your onward journey.
