On arrival at Guwahati Airport (GAU) or Guwahati Railway Station (GHY), meet and greet, then begin the scenic drive to Cherrapunjee (4690 ft / 1430 m). En route visit the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani), the famous Elephant Fall, and Duwan Sing Syiem Viewpoint. Continue to Cherrapunjee and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Sightseeing is possible only if arrival is in the morning.
Most waterfalls dry up in winter.
After breakfast, proceed for the Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek, a long and tiring day involving a 3–4 hour walk one way (approx. 4 km) with steep descents and ascents of around 1000 ft. The trail passes through Sohsarat village, stone steps, and forested paths that can be slippery during monsoon due to moss. After spending time at the bridge, trek back to the starting point and drive to the hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Optional: Hiring a local guide is mandatory.

Enjoy local sightseeing including Garden of Caves, Arwah / Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Note: Waterfalls are mostly dry in winter.
After early breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, and visit the Single Living Root Bridge (15-min walk down / 20-min climb up). After lunch, proceed to Dawki, famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River and the India–Bangladesh border point. Enjoy the scenic drive through deep gorges and ravines before continuing to Shillong. Check in on arrival. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Note: Most waterfalls dry during winter.
After breakfast, drive to Mawphlang Sacred Forest (30 km / 1–1.5 hrs), a unique protected grove rich in biodiversity and tribal legends. Later visit Ward’s Lake, Cathedral Catholic Church, and Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays). If not visited earlier, cover Elephant Falls as well. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Shillong.

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
About Kaziranga: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinos, along with tigers, elephants, wild buffaloes, various mammals, and rich birdlife.
After breakfast, enjoy optional Elephant Ride / Jeep Safari (subject to availability and operational conditions) in one forest range. After lunch, opt for another Jeep Safari in a different range. If time permits, visit the Kaziranga National Orchid & Biodiversity Park. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Forest Dept. controls all entry tickets and safari allocations.
Elephant ride cannot be pre-confirmed; booking opens only in the previous evening.
Any government hike in fees/fuel will increase safari costs.
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati (250 km / 5–6 hrs).
Temple Option: Visit Umananda Temple and Navagraha Temple (subject to time). Overnight in Guwahati.
Or (Non-Temple Option): After reaching Guwahati, enjoy an optional Brahmaputra River Cruise (subject to operational conditions, direct payment). Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Notes: Completion of sightseeing depends on the time spent at each point.
Optional: Sunset Cruise or Dinner Cruise on the Brahmaputra.
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati (250 km / 5–6 hrs).
