Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Cherrapunjee. En route visit Umiam Lake (Barapani) – the largest man-made lake in Northeast India, Elephant Falls and Duwan Sing Syiem View Point. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Sightseeing on Day 01 is possible only if guests arrive in the morning.
Waterfalls remain dry during winter.
After breakfast, proceed for the Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek, a 3–4 hour one-way walk (approx. 4 km). The trek passes through Sohsarat village with steep steps and forest trails, descending and climbing nearly 1000 ft. After exploring the root bridge, trek back to the base point and return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing: Garden of Caves, Arwah / Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls. (Most waterfalls dry in winter.)
After early breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Visit the Single Living Root Bridge (15 min walk down, 20 min walk up). After lunch, continue to Dawki, famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River and the India–Bangladesh border point. Later drive to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, visit Mawphlang Sacred Forest, known for its ancient trees and legends. Later return to Shillong for sightseeing covering Don Bosco Museum (Closed Sunday), Ward’s Lake (Closed Tuesday), Lady Hydari Park (Closed Monday), and Cathedral of Mary. Overnight stay in Shillong.
In the morning drive to Laitlum Canyons, offering breathtaking views of deep gorges and rolling hills. Later head to the stunning Krangsuri Waterfall in Jowai. After enjoying the scenic beauty, drive back to Shillong. Check-in & overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati.
Option 1: Temple Tour
Visit Umananda Temple (Ferry charges extra) and Navagraha Temple. In the evening enjoy an optional Brahmaputra River Cruise (direct payment, subject to operation). Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Option 2: Non-Temple Tour
Visit Science Museum (Closed Monday) OR Sankardev Kalakshetra OR Pragjyotika Assam Emporium (Closed Sunday). Evening optional river cruise. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Optional: Sunset/Dinner Cruise (subject to water levels).
Early morning optional visit to Kamakhya Temple (outer view; VIP tickets on own via official website). Return to hotel for breakfast. Later transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.
