Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and proceed to Cherrapunjee. En route, visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umiam Lake (Barapani), followed by Elephant Falls and Duwan Sing Syiem View Point. Upon reaching Cherrapunjee, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Most waterfalls remain dry during winter.
After breakfast, proceed for the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek, a 3–4 hour walk one way (approx 4 km). The trail goes downhill through Sohsarat village and includes steep stretches, jungle paths and moss-covered steps (slippery during monsoon). After exploring the bridge, trek back to the starting point and return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Notes:
Rainbow Waterfalls is an additional 1-hour walk further from the Double Decker Bridge. Guests may opt for it depending on fitness level.
A local guide is mandatory for the trek (additional cost applies).

Cherrapunjee – Local Sightseeing – Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, visit Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave / Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls. Later return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. Explore the village and visit the Single Living Root Bridge (a short 15–20 min walk each way). After lunch, continue to Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear Umngot River, which also marks the India–Bangladesh border. Later drive to Shillong. Check in at the hotel and overnight stay at Shillong.

After breakfast, proceed to the sacred Mawphlang Sacred Forest, one of Meghalaya’s most significant heritage sites. Later return to Shillong and visit Don Bosco Museum (Closed on Sunday), Ward’s Lake (Closed on Tuesday), Lady Hydari Park (Closed on Monday) and the Cathedral of Mary. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. Depending on available time, visit Umananda Temple (ferry cost on direct payment) and Navagraha Temple. In the evening, enjoy a Brahmaputra River Cruise (on direct payment; subject to operation). Check in and overnight stay at Guwahati.

Shillong – Guwahati Half-Day Sightseeing (Non-Temple Tour)
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. Depending on time, visit Science Museum (Closed on Monday) OR Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra OR Pragjyotika Assam Emporium (Closed on Sunday). Enjoy an evening river cruise (direct payment). Check in and overnight stay at Guwahati.

Completion of sightseeing depends on time spent at each attraction.
Optional: Brahmaputra Sunset / Dinner Cruise (subject to water level & operational conditions; additional cost).
Early morning optional visit to the Kamakhya Temple (outer view; VIP tickets to be arranged by guests through the official website). Return to hotel for breakfast. Later transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
