Tour Plan

Welcome to Srinagar, the beautiful Lake City. Upon arrival at the airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Later, proceed for a city tour visiting the Shankaracharya Temple situated atop a hill offering panoramic views of the city, and the famous Mughal Gardens — Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh — built by Mughal emperors as their vision of paradise. Spend a relaxing evening amidst nature. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

After breakfast, drive towards Sonmarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold,” located at an altitude of 2,800 meters. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of snow-clad mountains and glaciers. Later, continue your drive through Zoji La Pass and the picturesque Drass Valley — the second coldest inhabited place in the world. By evening, arrive in Kargil and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Leh crossing the high mountain passes of Namika La and Fotu La. En route, visit the ancient Lamayuru Monastery, one of the oldest in Ladakh, and enjoy the lunar landscape. Arrive in Leh by afternoon and check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Shanti Stupa, built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura to promote world peace. From here, enjoy a panoramic view of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Later, visit the historic Leh Palace and explore the local markets in the evening. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast and check out from the hotel for a thrilling drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest motorable road at 18,380 feet. Stop at the top to capture stunning photographs and enjoy breathtaking views. On arrival in Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest in the region, and then continue to Hunder to witness the famous sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels. Enjoy a camel ride (on your own cost) before checking in at your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, the last Indian village before the Pakistan border. This scenic village offers a unique glimpse into the Balti culture, distinct from other parts of Ladakh. Explore its green fields, apricot orchards, and traditional stone houses. Return to Nubra in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

After an early breakfast, drive towards Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route. The journey offers mesmerizing views of rugged mountains and clear blue skies. Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 4,267 meters, is the world’s highest saltwater lake, extending between India and China. Spend your evening admiring the changing colors of the lake and gazing at the starry night sky. Overnight stay at the camp near Pangong Lake.

Wake up to a serene morning by the lake and enjoy breakfast with a view. Later, drive back to Leh via the majestic Changla Pass, one of the highest in the world. On arrival in Leh, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, shopping or relaxing. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your return journey. Depart with wonderful memories of your unforgettable Kashmir and Ladakh experience.

    • Trip to Rohtang pass (done by Union Taxi and paid for directly).
    • Table drinks, VIP Passes laundry, Room heater, porter, Horse, pony, tips, camera fee, ropeway charges, entrance charges,
    • Travel insurance, personal expenses of the clients.
    • Personal costs include laundry, phone calls, tipping, mineral water, soft and hard beverages, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, and porterage.
    • Additional sightseeing or car usage above what is specified in the schedule
    • Entrance fees of all sightseeing places to be visited from inside.
    • Any costs stemming from natural disasters such as landslides, road blockages, political disturbances (strikes), etc. (must be paid by the client, who is directly paying on the spot).
    • Anything specifically not mentioned in the ‘tour price includes’ column.
    • Any extra sightseeing, services, or activity charges other than those included in the itinerary

Terms & Conditions

  • The rates are subjects to change without any prior notice.
  • Accommodation in the itinerary at the mentioned hotels or the similar hotels.
  • The confirmation is subjects to availability and prior payment.
  • Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon availability at the time of check-in the category of room as specified on your confirmation voucher.
  • Extra bed means Extra mattress.
  • No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments sightseeing tours or any other service due to Bad weather, ill health, Strike, Road blocks or any other factor beyond our Control. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
  • No refund shall be claimed, if the services & amenities of hotel were not up to your expectations, it will be considered on case-to-case basis Confirmation policy.
  • AC will not work in Hill Stations.
  • Token amount is nonrefundable.
  • Price quoted are subject to availability at time of confirmation, we are currently not holding any blocking against the sent quotation.
  • Tour prices are valid for Indian Nationals & Foreigners holding Indian Resident Permit.
  • Booking confirmations are subject to availability.
  • All Hotels Rooms are subject to availability.
  • We are not holding any reservations of air seats, hotel rooms, conference rooms etc. Final availability status will only be known when we request for bookings.
  • Holiday Surcharge will be additional if applicable
  • Any overstay expenses due to delay or change or cancellation in flight will be on the guests own & Exploring Holidays India will not be held liable for such expenses however we will provide best possible.
  • Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.

Payment Policy

  • The Above package can be booked/ hold by paying token amount which is 30% of the total amount for booking
  • The client has to complete 80% (30+50 %) of total amount within one month from the booking date.
  • The remaining 20% should be complete before 7 days prior to date of arrival.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 30 % of the Total Package Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 70% of the Total Package Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-10 days before the start date of the trip, 85% of the Total Package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • 100% cancellation would be charged from the total booking amount in case of 6 days prior or last-minute booking cancellation due to flight cancellation, any natural calamity, and change in flight schedule/ferry due to technical/weather and high tides and sea conditions.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • 100% in case of non-refundable flight ticket / Hotel Room.
  • Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.
