On arrival at Leh Airport, meet our local tour representative at the designated area for your transfer to the hotel. Take ample rest to acclimatize to the high altitude, as you’ve arrived from a lower region of India to an elevation of over 11,000 feet.
In the afternoon, you may take a leisurely walk through the old town to get a feel for the charm of this beautiful city. In the evening, visit the Shanti Stupa, built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. The stupa offers a stunning panoramic view of Leh and its surrounding landscapes, especially during sunset.
After an early breakfast, proceed for the Shyam Valley Excursion. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, built in memory of brave Indian soldiers, and the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Continue to the famous Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to move uphill on their own, and then to the Sangam Point, the beautiful confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.
In the evening, visit the iconic Shanti Stupa, a symbol of world peace and friendship between Japan and Ladakh, offering stunning views of Leh town.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable pass – Khardung La (18,380 ft). Enjoy breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks and the Leh city from the top. Continue your journey to the beautiful Nubra Valley, located at the confluence of the Shyok and Nubra Rivers.
On arrival, check in at the camp or resort and later visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in the valley. Then, proceed to Hunder Village to experience the famous cold desert and double-humped Bactrian camels. Enjoy an optional camel ride (on your own cost).
Return to the camp by evening, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
After an early breakfast, depart from Nubra Valley and drive towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake via the Shyok route. Enjoy the scenic journey through the rugged landscapes and snow-capped Himalayas.
Located at an altitude of 4,267 meters, Pangong Tso is the world’s highest saltwater lake, stretching about 130 km in length and renowned for its ever-changing shades of blue. Spend some peaceful moments admiring the lake’s beauty and capturing its charm.
Later, drive back to Leh via Changla Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Arrive in Leh by evening for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Take back unforgettable memories of the Leh–Ladakh trip, the majestic mountains, serene lakes, and warm Ladakhi hospitality.
